13.     ICT Support Service Policy

The ICT support services include operations carried out by the ICT Directorate personnel to ensure efficiency, stability, and continuity of any ICT service or equipment to ensure it meets its intended use requirements.

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all ICT equipment and systems are regularly maintained and appropriate ICT resources are managed to ensure all systems and services run smoothly with less downtime.

Scope

This policy applies to all ICT equipment and systems owned by the University within the various Colleges, Institutes, Faculties, Schools, Departments, and Units. The University ICT support includes maintenance and ICT resources support.
