With a proud tradition spanning 6 decades, the University of Gondar remains dedicated to contributing to the sustainable socio-economic development of the nation through the provision of societal needs tailored education, undertaking problem based research and rendering relevant community services.
Our Academic Units are at the core of our activities home to our staff, students, academic programs, research and community activities. We have 9 Academic Units spread across our 4 campuses. They house our 1500 members of academic staff, our 21636 undergraduate and 1829 postgraduate students and our 56 undergraduate and 64 postgraduate programs.
